ApnaMoment

How ApnaMoment works

From setup to shared gallery — here is the full flow for hosts and guests.

Step 1

Sign in and create a moment

Go to app.apnamoment.com and sign in with your Google account. Create a moment for your event — a wedding weekend, birthday party, or family reunion. Give it a name and a URL-friendly slug.

Inside your moment, add one or more events. A wedding might have separate events for the ceremony and reception; a party might have just one. Each event gets its own short code and QR code.

Step 2

Share QR codes with guests

Download or print the branded QR code for each event. Place them on tables, at the entrance, or on signage. When a guest scans the code, they land on a mobile-friendly upload page — no app store visit required.

Guests enter their name (or sign in with Google) and select photos from their camera roll. If the venue has weak signal, the page can queue uploads offline and sync when connectivity returns.

Step 3

Photos sync to Google Photos

Every approved upload is copied to an album in your Google Photos library. You keep full ownership — ApnaMoment is the collection layer, not a separate photo locker.

From your host dashboard you can browse all uploads, run moderation if enabled, and open public galleries or fullscreen slideshows to share with guests after the event.

For hosts: the admin dashboard

  • Overview — See upload counts and activity at a glance.
  • Photos — Browse, search, and manage every upload across events.
  • Moderation — Approve or reject photos before they appear publicly.
  • Contributors — See who uploaded and how many photos each guest shared.
  • RSVPs — Collect responses and send invitations by email or SMS.
  • Settings — Gallery passwords, moderator roles, and moment details.

For guests: upload, gallery & RSVP

  • Upload — Scan a QR code or open a shared link to add photos.
  • Gallery — Browse approved photos from the event (password-protected if the host enabled it).
  • Slideshow — Fullscreen presentation mode for displays and after-parties.
  • RSVP — Respond to invitations from a dedicated RSVP page for the moment.
